That the quality of the rims of the F800 GS is not the maximum is a consolidated figure of fact. Many people are doing even a moderate off-road vehicles have broken irrimedialmente circles. For the front wheel you can choose between two measurements of width of the channel:

1.60 x 21 - the narrower the channel width is ideal for the installation of specialist off-road tires (like Metzeler 6 Days and similar) also combined with mousse; turn your F800GS in a real SUV. Not approved.

1.85 x 21 - the channel is the medium that comes closest to the standard configuration, however, allows the mounting of tire-road and offers the ideal width suitable for mounting on-off type of tires Continental TKC, Metzeler Karoo T / 2 and Karoo Heidenau K60.

The complete wheel is composed of: Takasago Excel rim 1.60 x 21 36R not approved (alternatively 1.85 x 21 36R) color: black - set 36 Spokes, nipples (steel reinforced) - Hub (original BMW complete with internal spacer, bearings, sealing rings and ring security) - mounting.
